It turned out just fine.
I’m not sure why my parents let me make stuff like this at home when there are just 3 of us. That’s a 4 rib roast right there. That’s 8.27 pounds before seasoning with salt overnight.
I haven’t posted food pictures in a while, so here’s my dinner. Grilled cheese with oven baked steak seared with a blowtorch. Oh, and the steak was seasoned overnight with brown sugar, smoke paprika, salt, garlic powder, and cinnamon.
This is the first time I had the right amount of dough for the amount of red bean paste I made, but it’s kind of not as fun without friends :<

Quick Tuesday night dinner. Coconut milk, curry, cilantro, and lemon juice seared steaks. I think it went pretty well, seeing as we didn’t really plan for it and just used what we had in the house.
School’s been keeping me quite busy, so here’s a quick little picture I snagged of my lunch. The meat on the side is made with the Chashu Pork recipe from Serious Eats. The noodles are just barely covered with broth just so I can get it last a couple more meals.
